The test chroot has /etc/localtime as Europe/Berlin. Interestingly my sparc chroot has basically the same setup and the test passes there.

The test was run this morning, after the time shift again. Now the offset is doubled: this is obviously timezone related. "date" in the chroot shows the correct values, so I guess this is really broken.
