I've reverted the mask for now since amd64-fbsd has a "stable" profile. I will mask again once man-db has keywords.
Could you please help me a bit and include complete list of dependencies? Oh, well, nevermind, that won't make much of a difference either. I'll need to fight repoman myself here. Gone as far as I could, po4a is blocked by #675002. An automated check of this bug failed - repoman reported dependency errors:
> dependency.bad sys-apps/man-db/man-db-2.8.5.ebuild: DEPEND: ~amd64-fbsd(default/bsd/fbsd/amd64/11.1) ['>=app-text/po4a-0.45']
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #4) > Gone as far as I could, po4a is blocked by #675002. If this is not resolved within 30 days, I would propose we drop the stable profile for amd64-fbsd. Nobody can actually test on that platform, and the project consisted of exactly one active developer. Infra has a VM running, you are free to ask for access. I made an attempt to troubleshoot the issue with po4a on the VM. I spent a few hours on it, and I'm not inclined to invest any more effort. I see 3 paths forward: 1. Ignore the test failures and keyword the necessary packages. 2. Fix the test failures in po4a. 3. If neither of the above occurs withing the next 30 days, I will demote amd64-fbsd to experimental. *-fbsd is gone. |
