sorry #include <time.h> The current 1.8 has been superseded a few times since 2016. The current version upstream is 2.0. Yes 2.0 is in my local overlay, but same problem. Some problems in real life crept in. In last days I set up an virtual machine with linux-4.19 kernel and linux-headers-4.19 for test. Using kernel version 4.14.14 and 4.14.16 I can not confirm the problem. linuxptp-1.8 and 2.0 are just compiling fine. As 4.19.10 got dropped from tree I can not test with that kernel version any longer. So please do a retest with actual kernel version and report back if the problem still exists. Compile today works fine.
