I'm trying to make packages for ppc64, but sys-apps/acl cannot be crosscompiled due to linker errors, so I have to install this one package on a native ppc64 host. It would be nice if it wasn't necessary. My amd64 host is the fastest host under my command, so it's always preferable to use that.
