doesn't display fonts because of missing path(s).

when doing:
lap ghostscript # pwd
/usr/share/ghostscript
lap ghostscript # ln -s /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript fonts

things work perfectly afterwards...

don't know if t1lib is the responsible lib for the above mentioned problem.

btw: xglyph is not installed.

just use recent xpdf and ghostscript versions
