config.log attached
Forgot to mention, QT 3.3.3-r1 is installed. Can you look at the config.log file in the portage temporary directory? It should show what's specifically causing the failure. I attached the config.log from /var/tmp/portage/kmplayer-0.8.3a/work/kmplayer-0.8.3a/ Is there another one hyou are asking for? From the config.log it looks like a problem with your glibc installation, there are some missing symbol in libpthread. I don't know if it's a problem if this newest version of glibc. you can try reemerging the glibc and if it don't works also qt but I'm not sure that this will solve the problem. QT now dails to build against the new glibc, puking on the same symbols it looks like... make[4]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/qt-3.3.3-r1/work/qt-x11-free-3.3.3/tools/designer/uic' test -d ../../../bin/ || mkdir -p ../../../bin/ g++ -fno-exceptions -o ../../../bin/uic .obj/release-shared-mt/main.o .obj/release-shared-mt/uic.o .obj/release-shared-mt/form.o .obj/release-shared-mt/object.o .obj/release-shared-mt/subclassing.o .obj/release-shared-mt/embed.o .obj/release-shared-mt/widgetdatabase.o .obj/release-shared-mt/domtool.o .obj/release-shared-mt/parser.o -L/var/tmp/portage/qt-3.3.3-r1/work/qt-x11-free-3.3.3/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lqt-mt -lmng -ljpeg -lpng -lz -lXi -lXrender -lXrandr -lXcursor -lXft -lfreetype -lfontconfig -lXext -lX11 -lm -lSM -lICE -ldl -lpthread /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined reference to `errno@GLIBC_PRIVATE' /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined reference to `__libc_dl_error_tsd@GLIBC_PRIVATE' /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined reference to `__libc_fork@GLIBC_2.1.2' /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined reference to `__resp@GLIBC_PRIVATE' /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined reference to `h_errno@GLIBC_PRIVATE' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status so is this a problem with QT or the new glibc? Maybe this can be closed and discussion moved to bug 67166? |
