portage-2.3.51 causes porthole failure to display USE flags and depencies of installed applications.
EXAMPLE: I have VLC installed and select VLC in porthole decencies are not displayed. Also USE flags are not displayed and can't be selected.

This applies to all installed applications. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start porthole
2. enter the name of an installed package into the search files
3. select the searched package and select "Dependencies"
4. dependencies are not displayed.
5. select Adv Emerge. 
6. USE flags are not displayed.

Actual Results:  
4. dependencies are not displayed.
6. USE flags are not displayed.

Expected Results:  
Display decencies
Display and allow selection of USE flags

I have 4 XFCE4 systems with the same problem.

MY INSTANT FIX:
Downgrade sys-apps/portage-2.3.51 to sys-apps/portage-2.3.49

NOTE: Dependencies are displayed if a selected package is NOT installed.

The problem disapered after a recent upgrade. Please mark as SOLVED
