Created attachment 553842 [details, diff] 0006-i18n.test-accommodate-formatting-changes-in-glibc-2..patch This is the patch that the Debian maintainer added to fix these tests. (It's not in any version that Debian currently distributes, as Debian unstable and testing have both apparently moved to versions where it's fixed upstream; I got the patch from the Ubuntu adaptation of that version, found at <https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/guile-2.2/2.2.3+1-4>.) Once I put this patch in /etc/portage/patches where eapply_user finds it, the test suite passes again. I cannot reproduce the test failure. All the failing test in the build log are "Unresolved" on my machine (with a French locale!). I see the test cases has been fixed upstream in newer releases but not in the stable-2.0 branch, which has not been updated for two years. I guess we could either apply the patch without a revbump. |
