When emerging app-text/pdftk-3.0.0 I get

ERROR: app-text/pdftk-3.0.0::gentoo failed 

build.log and emerge --info is attached.

If you're still hitting this, it's possible you'ver set some JAVA_* variables in make.conf (don't do that). Let us know if you're still hitting it.
