probably the same as bug 66969 $ java-config -S blackdown-jdk-1.4.2 $ env-update if not reopen I was having this same error emerging libreadline-java. I tried 'java-config -S blackdown-jdk' but it didn't help.
Noticed some lines in /var/log/messages about PAX:

Which made me remember that I needed to use chpax in order for java to work correctly with grsecurity:
$ emerge chpax
$ /etc/init/chpax start
And then I was able to successfully emerge libreadline-java.
The forum thread I found on chpax and running java is at http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=59806
Please re-open. I have submitted the info requested as an attachment. |
