I was able to build from git (https://github.com/brave/brave-browser.git) branch master: commit 8af00a618b581da0792efeb2f0773bffac3cece3 (HEAD -> master, origin/master, origin/HEAD) Author: brave-builds <devops@brave.com> Date: Sat Jun 29 12:00:12 2019 +0000 Bump version (0.69.17) From what I can tell it is being built differently than the www-client/chromium build....it is using clang instead of gcc, and also the chromium ebuild is debundling to use system libraries whereas the brave build seems to be using bundled ones. Brave 1.0 has been released. I close this because there is already an overlay that has this. Overlay is good, but please add to the main Portage tree. Would have been great to point to the relevant overlay(s). Find brave-overlay on https://overlays.gentoo.org On http://gpo.zugaina.org/, you can search overlays. |
