/usr/share/misc already exists as a directory on virtually all gentoo systems and is used by many packages. I've attached the file generated by pcmcia-cs.

A simple 'dodir /usr/share/misc' should do it.

latexer is working on a pcmcia-cs version bump/clean-up/bug-fix afaik.

Fixed in sys-apps/pcmcia-cs-3.2.7-r4
