Hmm, I don't seem to even have a libc.so.6 on my system: $ find /usr -iname "libc.so.6" $ find /opt -iname "libc.so.6" $ Seemant: Any ideas? This issue can be resolved by updating to version 1.0.6-1 of ymessenger. According to http://public.yahoo.com/~mmk/#What's_changed_from_the_released_version_to_this_one, this is one of the bugs squashed in the update. I've posted a partial fix for this on the forums under the gentoo username JoeG. The only issue is of having to hand create the symlink for libgtkhtml.so.0. The url is: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=1962132#1962132 What's the best way to go about submitting this ebuild so that it's included in portage? I'm sure lots of people have this problem. Please, test this w/ ymessenger-1.0.6.1 and report back. |
