Doesn't this happen only with kombu >= 4.2? Kombu stable is still 4.1 in the tree. Not saying that we shouldn't bump, but no need to fast track stabilization either, as you suggest. I'll add a stricter kombu dependency constraint in the current stable ebuild. The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=5a0ff09d0211ef83c1adbbc785ac14381263fa2f commit 5a0ff09d0211ef83c1adbbc785ac14381263fa2f Author: Virgil Dupras <vdupras@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2018-09-15 01:54:20 +0000 Commit: Virgil Dupras <vdupras@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2018-09-15 01:54:20 +0000 dev-python/celery: tighten kombu dep constraint Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/666228 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.49, Repoman-2.3.10 dev-python/celery/celery-4.1.0.ebuild | 3 ++- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) (In reply to Virgil Dupras from comment #1) > Doesn't this happen only with kombu >= 4.2?
