When cdrdao runs with root permissions, it is able to use real-time priority scheduling, avoiding many buffer under-runs. I'd like to see a USE flag added to the ebuild so that cdrdao can optionally be installed SUID root.

some exploits have been released in the past that only worked if you locally set the cdrdao binary suid root, i don't think that would be very safe.

I'm against any installation with suid root permissions by default, regardless with or without useflag.  The user should know what he does.

Nevertheless I will add some information to the end of installation.
