/usr/portage/dev-libs/apr/apr-1.5.2.ebuild: __dyn_test aborted; exiting.

It stays there for hours (up to 12) with one CPU at 100% running a './testall -v' process. Same thing happens with apr-1.6.3-r1.

Things I've tried without any luck:
- going back to gcc-7.3.0
- build on another PC with stable glibc and linux-headers
- disabling LTO
- using ld.bfd instead of ld.gold
- FEATURES=-distcc MAKEOPTS=-j1
- /bin/sh -> bash instead of dash

Last time it was built successfully was:
