a) qpkg -q is broken b) the equivalent to qpkg -q would be equery depends -i c) unfortunately the bug is valid :-/ Same problem here. BTW: Where is that option ("-i") documented? There's no (real) manpage and neither "equery depends --help" nor "equery --help depends" produce any output. The generic help ("equery --help") does not list it, either. I'm having the same problem; 'equery d dev-lang/perl' ran for 11 hours last night. Had to kill -9 it this morning. Using gentoolkit-0.2.0_pre10-r1, portage 2.0.51-r3, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4, kernel 2.6.9-nitro3. Also note that 'man equery' says depends is not implemented, but 'equery --help' says it is. The current stable version of equery works fine for me. Fixed in gentoolkit-0.2.1_pre* Fix is in gentoolkit-0.2.1 |
