fyi: dev-perl/WWW-Mechanize-1.840.0 is passing tests.
Comment 2 Kent Fredric (IRC: kent\n) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-08-18 21:49:13 UTC
Curious, can you rerun that test with DIST_TEST_OVERRIDE="do verbose" in your ENV? then attach the results?

Thanks.

dev-perl/WWW-Mechanize: Bump to version 1.910.0 for bug #664006

    - Honestly, I have no idea if it will help, but its worth trying

    Upstream:
    - tick() now dies if checkbox is not found
    - Add support to find_image and find_all_images via 'id' and 'class'
    - Pass strict/verbose constructor args to HTML::Form
    - Add ability to clear history
    - Ensure support for weak referencs in HTML::Element

    Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.66, Repoman-2.3.16

Please re-try so I can know if I need to do additional investigation, thanks.
Comment 6 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-10-15 13:11:32 UTC
Yes, it's still hanging at the same test.

WWW-Mechanize-1.910.0 will hang with

Just curious: Can't you reproduce the failure on your box?
Comment 7 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-10-15 13:23:51 UTC
I can confirm that tests are fixed when I apply https://github.com/libwww-perl/WWW-Mechanize/pull/280/commits/c60cf1cb94f41fcfd09c01fd731c9be484f23eab

Note: That will probably require bug 655230 to be stabilized.
Comment 8 Sam James archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2021-09-07 20:07:52 UTC
This should be fixed in the nearly added 2.40.0.
