( using ebuild /path/here.ebuild test should be all that's needed to see ). Start with 5.26, and if it fails, try 5.28. That way we'll have some idea if upstream know about, and have fixed, this issue already. Though if I ad to guess, I'd say its *this* dog turd soup: hhttps://metacpan.org/changes/distribution/Time-HiRes#L123 https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=116127 However, corelist suggests 5.28 and only 5.28 will have a chance of avoiding this: corelist -a Time::HiRes | grep '5.2[468]' v5.24.0 1.9733 v5.24.1 1.9733 v5.24.2 1.9733 <---- previous version v5.24.3 1.9741 <---- your version v5.24.4 1.9741 v5.26.0 1.9741 v5.26.1 1.9741 v5.26.2 1.9741 v5.28.0 1.9759 <---- greater version with indicated fixes I'm not sure the nature of this failure really warrants action ( it requires sizeable patching to avoid ) 5.26.2 has the same failure. In addition, alarm.t fails: ../dist/Time-HiRes/t/alarm.t ....................................... 6/10 # Failed test at t/alarm.t line 203. # Failed test at t/alarm.t line 210. ../dist/Time-HiRes/t/alarm.t ....................................... 8/10 # Looks like you failed 2 tests of 10. ../dist/Time-HiRes/t/alarm.t ....................................... Dubious, test returned 2 (wstat 512, 0x200) Failed 2/10 subtests 5.28.0 passes both these tests, with a message for utime.t: ../dist/Time-HiRes/t/utime.t ....................................... skipped: No subsecond file timestamps (In reply to eroen from comment #4) > 5.26.2 has the same failure.
