I bumped gspell to 1.6.1 just earlier today, instead of 1.8.x, because: * 1.8 means dealing with the enchant-2 situation now, which I'm not ready for yet in my priorities; * gspell 1.8 is technically a GNOME 3.28 era version, while we are still working on GNOME 3.26 (which 1.6.1 was for). So don't expect any progress here soon, unless you or someone else gives hands-on help with enchant-2. Though I didn't check that it requires enchant-2 for sure, as opposed to supporting it too. But that made me decide to deal with it in the future, not now. 1.8.1 is in tree (but is masked). |
