This is a driver that branched off from the regular spca50x driver, but is more recent, supports more webcams, supports 2.6 kernels and is actively worked on.

Driver for webcams with the spca5xx chipset.

Newer version of the driver. I installed the driver with this ebuild, works
great.

I put my own version is cvs, didn't see this.(media-video/spca5xx)
