As updatedb doesn't update iso9660, I think the behaviour should be the same for udf filesystems. 
solution: 
add " udf" to the PRUNEFS variable, in 

/var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/sys-apps/slocate/files/updatedb.conf

(locally the file is /etc/updatedb.conf)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. mount a udf dvd
2. updatedb
