It doesn't like python3.7 apparently:

FAILED (failures=1, errors=4, skipped=2, expected failures=12)

Upstream fixes (untested):

It is apparently present in 3.28.1 but I suppose we're far from bumping, so maybe it'd be easier to backport.

mgorny did this with my ACK for 3.24.1-r1 by now in commit a6c2cd5a01
