My current Kodi build crashes on startup, apparently support for EGL_CHROMIUM_sync_control is needed.

Either include enough information for me to report the issue (Kodi log, error message, kodi commit id, video card in use, version of mesa and its use flags, etc) to Kodi upstream, or better yet, please report the issue yourself - http://trac.kodi.tv/ is the issue tracker.
