Ralph, I have decided to remove you as a proxy maintainer from the Gentoo project. I will not allow you to contribute to Gentoo in the foreseeable future. Your style is abrasive and not in the spirit of cooperation. There is a pattern of responding borderline aggressively to bugs and looking for "loopholes". Every comment on every PR you fight. At times you invoke your academic credentials to claim some sort of moral high ground. Every Gentoo developer who worked with you tells me of negative experiences with you. And moreover, not one can recall a single positive interaction. Once you have reconsidered your attitude towards others, you can come back. You can surely understand that what you "allow" or not in this situation does not bother me, and that I have neither the time nor the inclination to make any unnecessary changes to my software just because M. Gorny does not like Flask-migrate, one of the core components automx2 has been using for three years, and the author of said component has brushed him off. |
