Have you set EMACSFLAGS or BYTECOMPFLAGS ? I only use the default settings regarding emacs in /etc/profile as I actually do not care about emacs. So for me one of those variables must be set with the wrong '-b' option. If you really do not know where, you could just disable emacs flags for mercurial as you do not really want it. |
