The autopep8 ebuild depends on both pep8 and pycodestyle. pep8 is the deprecated predecessor of pycodestyle, the modern versions of autopep8 only use pycodestyle. Having pep8 in the dependencies is thus not necessary and only installing a package that is deprecated.
