Description George Kraev 2004-09-30 20:49:21 UTC
Gtodo requires a bunch of ruby binding and ruby however the ebuild for gtodo seems to have no information about the dependancies. Here is a copy of the dependancies provided with the official source:

"    * Ruby
    * The openssl bindings for ruby (for https://)
    * Gtk+ 2.0, GConf 2
    * The Ruby bindings for gtk and gconf
    * The gtktrayicon library

  The first two of these are found in the standard Ruby distribution
  (http://www.ruby-lang.org/). The remaining three are found in the
  ruby-gnome project (http://ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp/)."

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge --pretend gtodo
2.
3.

Actual Results:
no dependancies are selected regardless of weather or not they are installed

maybe you are thinking of another package, but that information is completly incorrect for gtodo.

glib-2.0
gobject-2.0
gtk+-2.0
libxml-2.0
gconf-2.0
gnome-vfs-2.0
