Build fails if gettext is not already installed and the ebuild does not DEPEND on any version of gettext

msgfmt: command not found

I'm reassigning to the livecd herd...

Also, isn't gettext a part of "system"... or did someone change that without notice, too?

Fixed in CVS...

I also modified sys-apps/kudzu, since they're both nearly the same.

It may "still" be a part of system but Ive been working with the embedded guys and its aparently not in their "system".
