Would you be able to retest this module on its own with DIST_TEST_OVERRIDE="do verbose" set in environment?

This should:

a) Disable parallel testing which might make the bug go away
b) Greatly increase verbosity to help nail down the cause of the bug if it is still expressed without parallelism.
