I confirm. Beginners search for bugs and problems using their habitual search site but bugs.g.o isn't indexed properly there. This was fixed, see bug 690438 (In reply to Alexander Tsoy from comment #2) > This was fixed, see bug 690438 Are you sure? I couldn't find this report in Google. Seems like i need to be gentoo.org's web admin to be able to ask Google why haven't it visited it. This is strange. There is a link to this bug on the page https://bugs.gentoo.org/data/cached/buglist-UNCONFIRMED.html which is indexed by Google. But I cannot find this bug report either. Could it be that there are too many links on buglist-* pages? $ curl -s 'https://bugs.gentoo.org/data/cached/buglist-UNCONFIRMED.html' | grep '<a href=' | wc -l 7255 Quote: "Limit the number of links on a page to a reasonable number (a few thousand at most)." https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35769?hl=en&ref_topic=6001981 |
