In order to use Amanda with AFS an extra package of tools is required to be downloaded.  The provided link includes the tarball.

However Amanda 2.4.4p2 already includes this patch, so only the new binaries are required.

"__dn_expand".

I've got absolutely no experience with AFS, so if you'd care to attach a patch for the latest amanda ebuild adding AFS support, I'll integrate that.

Updated build sequence to point to gnu tar wrapper for calculating afs volume
size and pulling in volume data.

no response about porting this to 2.5 series.
