The problem with this is the security side of things, how do these project plan to maintain security issues that are discovered? I for one am not in favor of introducing things that are not moving forward and those things that have security concerns. The mozilla team will not be a part of any efforts to provide or maintain ebuilds of the packages. (In reply to Jory A. Now they have Waterfox Classic and Waterfox G, as I understand G version is based on current code of Firefox, with security patches. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterfox Is the reason for not having ebuilds for basilisk, waterfox and no official ebuilds for palemoon security? For palemoon, upstream said that they backport security fixes. Are there any other reasons not to have a palemoon ebuild? |
