crossdev was installed from the Portage ebuild. I ran crossdev with the following options:
crossdev --arch=amd64 --vglibc=2.3.3.20040420-r1 --vgcc=3.3.4-r1 --vbinutils=2.14.90.0.8-r1
crossdev stops with the message:
Failed Patch: 64_amd64_binutils-2.14.amd64-32bit-path-fix-after-relro.patch.bz2!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. crossdev --arch=amd64 --vglibc=2.3.3.20040420-r1 --vgcc=3.3.4-r1 --vbinutils=2.14.90.0.8-r1

Actual Results:
crossdev stopped as outlined above.

Expected Results:
The software should have created an x86->amd64 compile toolchain.

you're still having problems, re-open the bug and re-assign to toolchain@gentoo.org
