Description Tobias Monckton 2018-05-13 22:29:50 UTC
These are ebuilds for two pieces of software from the libimobiledevice (http://www.libimobiledevice.org/) project:

libirecovery - A cross-platform library to interface with Apple's iBoot via USB
idevicerestore - A cross-platform tool to restore Apple devices from IPSW files

I have personally tested them in their intended functions (interfacing with iBoot, and restoring a device to factory defaults via IPSWs) and confirmed that they work. idevicerestore depends upon libirecovery, which is also part of this submission.
I would be grateful if these pieces of software could be included, so others besides myself, with Apple devices, could gain another piece of functionality on Gentoo Linux.
