(In reply to Dennis Schridde from comment #0) > app-emulation/lxc-2.1.1::local was built with the following: Please note that the version of lxc being build here is from the Gentoo repository, not from my own local overlay. Looks like the ebuild should figure out whether it wants net-libs/gnutls[static-libs]. The build system checks for -lgnutls and finds the dynamic library but later it links with -static and then fails to find the static library. I could reproduce the problem on a pristine gentoo with: * ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" * sys-libs/libcap +static-libs The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=d75ecc093bbe7fddde93c19184d314dfab9af0d1 commit d75ecc093bbe7fddde93c19184d314dfab9af0d1 Author: Virgil Dupras <vdupras@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2018-06-14 00:27:46 +0000 Commit: Virgil Dupras <vdupras@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2018-06-14 00:27:46 +0000 app-emulation/lxc: bump to version 3.0.1 Also, replace previous maintainers by myself.
