Hi,

I'm submitting emlop for inclusion in the gentoo tree. I'm the main emlop author and would be happy to proxy-maintain.

Emlop is yet another emerge log parser. It has sweet spots where it is better than genlop/qlop/pqlop/golop (see COMPARISON.md in the emlop repo), and many improvements are planned.

Version bump to 0.2.0. Emlop's sweet spot has widened, there's IMHO few reasons left to prefer other *lop implementations.

Any way I can help getting this into the portage tree ?

Here's another plea for a Gentoo dev to take a look. I know manpower is short, but I'm providing ebuild and updates, so there's not much for you to do ? It's a bit frustrating to see that unfinished/abandoned alternatives like golop and pqlop are in the portage tree, but emlop isn't.

Yes, I helped with the GURU ebuild after telan commited the first version. The GURU ebuild has received a bit of QA, and emlop has been gaining users over the years.

Now that flowdalic has reviewed the PR, I'll do the necessary changes over there, maybe even the delayed emlop release. Hopefully we'll get the PR ready for merging soon.
