Description Bartosz Krzeszewski 2018-02-21 20:28:05 UTC
There was ebuild for =kde-apps/kholidays-17.12.1 but after removal of kde-apps 17.12.1 there is only =kde-apps/kholidays-17.08.3 and portage wants to downgrade kde-apps/kholidays from 17.12.1 to 17.08.3 when other kde-apps are upgrading to 17.12.2.

Not a bug, use kde-frameworks/kholidays instead.
Comment 2 Bartosz Krzeszewski 2018-02-21 20:53:47 UTC
I'm not using it, it is in dependencies
Comment 3 Bartosz Krzeszewski 2018-02-21 21:07:28 UTC
After removal of kholidays I get this message

!!! existing preserved libs:
>>> package: kde-apps/kholidays-17.12.1
 *  - /usr/lib64/libKF5Holidays.so.5
 *  - /usr/lib64/libKF5Holidays.so.5.7.1
 *      used by /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/plasmacalendarplugins/holidaysevents.so (kde-plasma/plasma-workspace-5.11.5)
Use emerge @preserved-rebuild to rebuild packages using these libraries
Comment 4 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2018-02-21 21:28:09 UTC
It is because you are mixing arch with ~arch. ~arch is fine with kde-frameworks/kholidays, arch is fine with kde-apps/kholidays. Fix your keywords.
