There is no reason for this mask afaict. A long time ago nvidia-drivers was masked entirely and when I wanted to use it for cuda/opencl I unmasked nvidia-drivers and left video_cards_nvidia masked since using nvidia-drivers required pax-marking X which is frowned upon. Now that there is no more pax I don't see a need for any masks relating to nvidia stuff in hardened. Anyone disagree? Is unmasked in the 17.0 hardened profile. |
