criticalmass ebuild fails with the following error

checking for ranlib... ranlib
checking for working const... yes
checking for main in -lSDL... yes
checking for main in -lSDL_image... no
configure: error: SDL_image is needed

really strange, sdl-image is in the DEPEND of this ebuils, so the error is:
1.- the DEPEND not works (what version of portage are you using?)
2.- configure don detect your installation of sdl-image (what version of
sdl-image are you using?)

sorry BaSS, been a litle busy dl's software cuz I'm gonna be a beata tester 
for a *cough* doze game, I'll get ya my portage version and sdl version jsut 
as soon as I reboot

criticalmass--0.97-r2 fails. log attached.

the cvs version  appears to fix this errors. So if you want to play... :)
