This issue blocks 'emerge -e world'. bits/sigset.h was present in glibc-2.25-r9. BTW, the current virtualbox is version 5.2.6. Why there is not xf86-video-virtualbox-5.2.6 in the portage tree? (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #4) > BTW, the current virtualbox is version 5.2.6. Why there is not > xf86-video-virtualbox-5.2.6 in the portage tree? Because it was replaced by x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo (In reply to Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) from comment #5) > (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #4) > > BTW, the current virtualbox is version 5.2.6. Why there is not > > xf86-video-virtualbox-5.2.6 in the portage tree? > > Because it was replaced by x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo Thanks for the hint. But it seems me, that xorg-drivers-1.19 does not know a vboxvideo VIDEOCARD. If I define VIDEO_CARDS="virtualbox", 'emerge -uvDN xorg-drivers' wants to emerge xf86-video-virtualbox-5.1.32. If I set VIDEO_CARDS="vboxvideo", 'emerge -uvDN xorg-drivers' does not want to emerge any xf86-video x11-drivers. Same bug here. What is the difference between x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo-1.0.0 and x11-drivers/xf86-video-virtualbox-5.1.32? and why they both are out of sync with vbox version number? x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo does not provide the DRI driver. The original xf86-video-virtualbox used to provide that. Any ideas anyone? Version 5.1.38 still has this problem. An ugly workaround is to create the missing sigset.h yourself. Like this # grep bits/types /usr/include/signal.h >>/usr/include/bits/sigset.h Then I successfully emerged xf86-video-virtualbox. Same issue here with Version 5.1.38. Haven't tried the workaround above in Comment 10. Package is gone. |
