Created attachment 39794 [details] Output from USE=-mmx emerge sbcl USE=-mmx helped for Gimp (Bug 62489). But not here. depend -> same reporter I had a gut feeling that this was caused by USE=hardened. So I tried removing 'hardened' and recompiled first gcc then sbcl. It works. I thereby feel that it is proven that it is the 'hardened' version of gcc that conflicts with sbcl.
