is copy_statfs_to_statvfs never used or something that it gets guarded in your patch?
Comment 5 Alan Hourihane 2018-01-06 16:06:31 UTC
copy_statfs_to_statvfs isn't used.
Comment 6 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2018-01-08 12:37:33 UTC
@base-system: what do you think about this patch?
Comment 7 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-01-08 12:44:53 UTC
Well usually we prefer to have patches being upstreamed so we can avoid to carry/port such patches forever.
Has this patch been provided to upstream? If yes, what was their response?
Comment 8 Robin Johnson archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2018-01-08 19:49:35 UTC
As maintainer, +0.5 pending upstream discussion of it.

you should also send the patch to openssh-unix-dev@mindrot.org

once you do that, update the patch header to reference both places and we can merge it. change itself looks pretty straight forward/simple. see:
