See the linked issue [1]. Long story short, distcc is mishandling -Wp argument count which now breaks building Linux kernel. Please include the attached backport (modified from linked bug report to apply with -p1).

although this patch has been included in ${FILES} it is not applied by the ebuild, hence ineffective and kernel building fails without workaround

The fix is present in the current versions.
