on google-chrome-unstable-65:

ldd /opt/google/chrome-unstable/chrome | grep conf
	libfontconfig.so.1 => /usr/lib64/libfontconfig.so.1 

Also works fine now with gconf deinstalled, so the dependency can finally be dropped.
