I just received the following topic reply notification:

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on the first link in the notification

Actual Results:  
the link takes you to a page saying the topic or post requested doesn't exist

Expected Results:  
taken me to the latest post in the topic

maybe the post that triggered the reply notification got deleted in the
meantime? This should be reflected in the error message, however.

The post would have been deleted before you had a chance to read it, either by the original poster or by a moderator. phpBB has no way of knowing whether a topic existed before or not if it has been deleted.
