'USE=-doc MAKEOPTS=-j1 emerge -v1 =ruby-2.2.9' works. Looks like it might be https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/13150 but in that case I'd expect 2.2.8 to fail for you as well. Ruby 2.2.x is in security maintenance mode upstream, so no patches will be backported for it upstream. Maintenance support for this version will end in februari 2018, so at that time ruby 2.2 should really be removed from the tree before then. Backporting gcc 7 patches doesn't seem worthwhile. ruby 2.2.9 compiles fine here with gcc-7.3 Issue is resolved? It works for me too. *** Bug 651912 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Thomas Bettler from comment #4) > ruby 2.2.9 compiles fine here with gcc-7.3 > Issue is resolved? (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #5) > It works for me too. I guess we can close this then. 7.2 is going to disappear anyway. |
