fups2 protocol is missing from gpm 1.20.1. I think the developers have removed support for "fucked up PS/2" as they thought ps2 worked with everything...so my IBM Thinkpad T22 trackpoint doesn't work with this version (and presumably all previous versions without fups2).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Gentoo on IBM Thinkpad T22
2. Try to use gpm with either ps2 or fups2
3. Marvel at the lack of operation

Actual Results:  
Nothing untoward.

Expected Results:  
fups2 shouldn't have been removed, yet.

what was the last version of gpm that did work for you ?

Sorry for wasting your time, I'd forgotten to re-enable the trackpoint in the BIOS... I'm such a dumbass.

It works fine now.
