Arbitrary characters are missed from the output.

Fixed with commit https://github.com/tmux/tmux/commit/c2f88373e76b8c62ac2e2baed6bc1f0f20036401

Works in 2.4 and newer

I think we'd better stablize tmux-2.6 than fix the old tmux-2.3.
