Thank you for the bump request. You can help the maintainer with further information: Does a simple bump [1] work on your system? Chances are high, because a first look on the bump revealed only small changes. [1] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Custom_repository#Simple_version_bump_of_an_ebuild_in_the_local_overlay Changes: https://slack.com/intl/de-de/release-notes/linux I've just successfully installed slack-bin-3.0.0 via copying ebuild for 2.8.2 to 3.0.0. Slack 3.0.2 is available. Works fine with the same ebuild. The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=f75212c749440e32892d880b6726b1da09d024d9 commit f75212c749440e32892d880b6726b1da09d024d9 Author: Vladimir Pavljuchenkov (SpiderX) <spiderx@spiderx.dp.ua> AuthorDate: 2017-12-10 12:24:14 +0000 Commit: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2018-01-14 09:17:00 +0000 net-im/slack-bin: improve ebuild along with version bump 1. I seem to remember there's a mechanism / script, is this correct? I am not aware of any "automated binary build version bumps". Could you provide some information about it? |
